Healthy boundaries are important for all relationships to be successful.

I would like to offer a few ideas to keep in mind. First, boundaries are for my protection to let others know what matters to me.

Secondly, I have to inform other of my boundaries. How are other people that I have relationship with going to know my boundaries if I don't make them know?

Thirdly, I have to maintain the communication lines open to notify others or to restate my boundaries. Communication is a tool that must be understood by all involved in a relationship.

Boundaries help us in different areas of our lives; emotionally, financially, physically and spiritually. Let me know how your boundaries have help you so others can learn and maintain a positive lifestyle.
